In this first module, you’ll build the essential foundations to understand and protect computer networks. You’ll learn how to configure, monitor, and troubleshoot networks while exploring the core principles of cybersecurity.

What’s included: network administration, traffic monitoring, key protocols, an introduction to Cloud and Linux environments, plus security pillars such as the CIA Triad, Defense in Depth, and Zero Trust architecture.

Through hands-on labs, you’ll dive into real-world scenarios to apply your new skills and start thinking like a true cybersecurity professional.

You’ll learn how to design a security program and identify and counter the most common threats. Through your projects, you’ll set up secure networks with access controls, system hardening, and firewalls.

You’ll also discover how to configure your own detection and prevention systems, use a SIEM to analyze threats, and explore the basics of cyber-forensics investigations.

By the end of the module, you’ll be able to detect vulnerabilities, respond to incidents, and manage the full follow-up process — from the first alerts to the final report.

By the end of your training, you’ll be able to respond to cyberattacks in real time and put your new skills into action. You’ll learn how to analyze the security of an architecture, carry out static and dynamic analyses, and manage digital evidence.
